Journal - Why do you think cyber bullying is such a big issue? Do you think cyber bullying happens in your community and here at Blue Valley High School? Have you ever witnessed cyber bullying? Explain your thoughts and feels about this topic.
Cyber bullying is such a big issue because of all the social media options for it to happen. It is also very had to figure out who is bullying the kids due to screen names. Also since it makes people feel so horrible, a percent of them do take their own lives, which is also a very big deal. It definitely happens at BV. It is has never personally happened to me, but I have heard stories about a Facebook page making fun of girls at my school, as well as a twitter account used for the same purpose. Cyber Bullying is a horrible thing, that needs to be more strictly enforced by the law. I'm not sure if it is illegal but it definitely needs to become that way.
