Journal -Today you will be selecting a global issue topic to use in the next two units for this class. When you hear/read the words “global issue” what comes to mind? Elaborate and explain yourself
When I hear global issue what comes to mind are problems that our world is facing. A lot of these problems are very big issues such as child soldiers and terrorism. These two come to mind because they are especially horrific in my mind. They, to me, are some of the top priority to get fixed, or under control. A global issue should also affect a large amount of people. It shouldn't just be a handful who don't like their situation. It is masses of people without fresh water, children who are starving, and whole countries that are at war with civilians dying.
